Antigen Long Description: The original antibody was selected from existing phage display libraries.

Origin Pub PMID: 17539823

Buffer Composition: PBS with 0.02% Proclin 300.

Available Custom Conjugation Options: AP, HRP, Fluorescein, APC, PE, Biotin Type A, Biotin Type B, Streptavidin, FluoroProbes 647H, Atto488, APC/Cy7, PE/Cy7

Specificity Statement: This antibody is specific for keratin with an increased affinity for sulfur mustard-exposed (SM-exposed) keratin over unexposed keratin.

Application Notes (Clone): The original format of this antibody (human scFv) demonstrated distinct recognition patterns in an ELISA and immunoslotblot (ISB) assay. Recognition of keratin exposed to increased concentrations of SM exhibited a maximal signal at 250 μM SM, indicating specific recognition of alkylated amino acid sequences. However, recognition was reduced at higher exposure levels (500 μM and 1 mM) but remained higher than that of unexposed keratin (Bikker et al., 2007; PMID: 17539823).
