Application: Useful for studying the expression of human TROP2 on the cell surface by flow cytometry.
Assay Conditions: One million TROP2-CHO-K1 cells (#78099) were blocked and stained with 1 µg of Anti-TROP2 Antibody, PE-Labeled (#102773) for 30 minutes on ice, washed three times, and analyzed by flow cytometry. TROP2-CHO-K1 cells (green) were compared to parental CHO-K1 cells (blue). Y-axis is the cell count. X-axis is PE intensity.
Background: Trophoblast cell-surface antigen 2 (TROP-2), also referred to as tumor associated calcium signal transducer 2 (TACSTD2), GA733-1 or M1S1, is a cell surface glycoprotein that is highly expressed in a variety of solid cancers yet has low expression in normal cells. Through a variety of signaling pathways, TROP2 regulates cancer growth and metastasis and is a favorable target for antibody drug conjugates (ADC) and Adoptive Cell Therapy.
Cross Reactivity: This antibody recognizes human TROP2. It has not been tested in other species.
Description: This anti-TROP2 (Trophoblast cell-surface antigen 2) antibody is a purified monospecific recombinant antibody, which is labeled with R-Phycoerythrin (PE). This antibody has been tested by flow cytometry for binding to human TROP2 on the surface of TROP2-CHO-K1 Cell Line (BPS Bioscience #78099). FluoSite™ is a tag-based method for site-specific conjugation of antibodies with fluorophores, ensuring the labeling site is far from the antigen-binding domain to preserve antibody functionality. This precise, consistent labeling ensures the homogeneity of the labeled antibody preparation, making it ideal for flow cytometry and other high-sensitivity applications.

Tags: PE is an oligomeric protein complex (270 kDa) from red algae that exhibits intensely bright red-orange fluorescence with excitation peak at 566 nm and an emission peak at 574 nm. The complex consists of six heterodimers, α subunit (18 kDa) and β-subunit (20 kDa), and an additional γ-subunit (34 kDa).
