Description: Monoclonal antibodies (MAbs) to liver cell processes are useful in the identification of hepatic carcinomas and normal organ structures. MAb HSA98 binds to human hepatocytes and the majority of human hepatocellular carcinomas (HCC's). In frozen sections, it stains hepatic cells and may be used as a marker of the liver. Cell preparations of hepatocellular carcinoma biopsies or cell lines are found to bind HSA98 on the cell surface. This MAb stains liver hepatocytes in frozen human liver sections and is positive on the cell surface of human liver carcinomas.Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluorescent CF® Dyes and other labels. CF® Dyes offer exceptional brightness and photostability. Note: Conjugates of blue fluorescent dyes like CF®405S and CF®405M are not recommended for detecting low abundance targets, because blue dyes have lower fluorescence and can give higher non-specific background than other dye colors.
