It is expressed in neuroma, neurofibroma, neurodifferentiated tumor (ganglioblastoma, gangliocytoma, paraganglioma), but not in gliomas and gliomas. In neurofibroma, CD57 and GFAP are combined to differentiate neuronevus. MBP +, CD57 +, GFAP +, CD57 -, GFAP - and MBP - in neurofibroma.
