Additional info: Human blood group A antigen belongs to a group of carbohydrate determinants carried on both glycolipids and glycoproteins; it is detected on erythrocytes and certain epithelial cells. The antibody HE-195 recognizes human blood group A including weak variants A3 , AX , A3B, AXB. The specifity of antibody HE-195 was confirmed by comparison of specifity and reactivity to standard reagent using >5.000 samples of blood. Agglutination test A1, A1B, A2B.
