Nicotianamine is an angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor with IC50 values of 76 nM and 59 nM for rhACE2 and rhACE, respectively. Nicotianamine is vital in metal nutrition and metal homeostasis of flowering plants[1][2].
