Additional info: Pancreastatin is a fragment of chromogranin A and is produced by proteolytic processing of chromogranin A in several peptide hormone-producing cells, such as pancreatic islet cells and gut endocrine cells, as well as tumors arising from these cells.
Absorption with 10-100 ug immunogen per ml diluted antiserum abolishes the staining.Positive control: Bouin-fixed paraffin sections of rat pancreas.
