CloneID: D51
Heavy Chain modification: His-tagged
Antigen Long Description: The original antibody was generated by immunizing Lama glama with amoxicillin conjugated with human serum albumin. The peripheral blood lymphocytes of the llama were used to generate a VHH library and the specific antibody was selected by panning the library against amoxicillin-KLH conjugate.
Origin Pub PMID: 34931798
Buffer Composition: PBS only.
Specificity Statement: This antibody shows reactivity with amoxicillin, which is a penicillin antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections such as tonsillitis, bronchitis, sinusitis, pneumonia, and infections of the ear, nose, throat, skin, or urinary tract. This antibody shows some cross reactivity with aztreonam.
Application Notes (Clone): The binding characterization of this antibody was done using ELISA. This antibody in combination with an anti-omalizumab antibody E5 was used in the generation of a bispecific antibody for determination of allergy against the ampicillin antibiotic(PMID: 34931798).
