Specificity Statement: This antibody binds CA242, which is a carbohydrate tumor marker, closely related, but not identical, to CA 19-9 and CA 50. It is commonly tested along with CEA, CA19-9 for detecting pancreatic cancer. This protein is overexpressed in malignant tumors and has been clinically used as a diagnostic biomarker for pancreatic, colorectal and other cancers.
Application Notes (Clone): This antibody binds human CA242 with a binding affinity of Kd= 9.48 nM. This antibody can be used for the detection of human CA242 in a sample using ELISA (CN112898430).
