Application Notes (Clone): The original version of this antibody was used for immunoprecipitation on human blood platelets It was able to aggregate the same proteins as other CD36 specific antibodies (Miao et al., 2001; PMID:11238109). Further this antibody was used for immunohistochemistry on normal placentas and placentas infected with malaria (Hromatka et al., 2013; PMID:23575149), and on healthy and cancerous lymph nodes (Martens et al., 2006; PMID:16440291). This antibody was also used for immunofluorescence on healthy and cancerous lymph nodes to study lymph node sinuses as the primary site of tumour cell arrest upon regional lymph node metastasis (Martens et al., 2006; PMID:16440291). Finally this antibody was used to block the CD36 protein (Davies et al., 2001; PMID:11279149) (McIntyre et al., 2002; PMID:12502787) (Lopez-Vilchez et al., 2011; PMID:21641410).
