Application Notes (Clone): The original antibody was used for immunofluorescence on HeLa cells (Pleiner et al., 2018; PMID:29263082), and on PC3 cells (Ricciardelli et al., 2007; PMID:17293599). This antibody was used for flow cytometry on CAMA-1, MDA-MB-231, MDA-MB-435, Raji and HeLa cells (Ssadh et al., 2017; PMID:29190904), and on HEK 293T human embryonic kidney cells, MDA-MB231 human breast tumor cells, MCF-7 human breast tumor cells, 4T1 mouse breast tumor cells, and Panc-1 human pancreatic tumor cells (Khan et al., 2021; PMID:33391537), to determine the expression of CD44 on their surface. This antibody was used for for an immunoblot on CAMA-1, MDA-MB-231, MDA-MB-435, Raji and HeLa cells to confirm that the receptor detected by tha antibody was indeed CD44 (Ssadh et al., 2017; PMID:29190904). This antibody was used for immunohistochemistry to visualize CD44 in human testicular tissues (Perri et al., 2022), in human salivary gland mucoepidermoid carcinoma and HMC cell lines (Andrews et al., 2019; PMID:30498096), and on pericellular sheath, prostate cancer cells (Ricciardelli et al., 2007; PMID:17293599).
