Specificity Statement: This antibody is a specific binder for enrofloxacin and did not cross-react with other fluoroquinolone antibiotics including structurally similar ciprofloxacin.

Application Notes (Clone): This antibody was capable of binding the biotin analogue of enrofloxacin in an ELISA. The binding affinity of the original scFv antibody to enrofloxacin-biotin analogue was reported to be Kd = 2.5 µM. This antibody was used in the development of an ScFv biosensor for qualitative detection of antibiotics in livestock drinking water (PMID: 21142055),
