Specificity Statement: The antibody is specific for HMPV lineage A2.

Application Notes (Clone): The specificity of the original format of the antibody was confirmed by ELISA analysis. The antibody could specifically bind to hMPV-infected cell monolayers as shown by immunofluorescent assays. The Fab fragment exhibited in vitro neutralizing activity (1.3 ug/mL) (Williams et al. 2007; PMID:17522220).
