Specificity Statement: This antibody is specific for protein F from the respiratory syncytial virus

Application Notes (Clone): The original antibody was used for an ELISA on lysed Vero cells infected with bovine RSV. Further this antibody was used for surface plasmon resonance on F protein. Finally the structure of this antibody was determined using x-ray crystallography (Ren et al., 2019; PMID:31100550). This antibody was used for immunohistochemistry on bovine lung tissue from infected calves. It showed the location of the virus in this experiment. Further this antibody was used for an in vivo neutralization assay, here calves were gives this antibody before they were infected. It showed a decrease in virus titer after 7 days (Thomas et al., 1998; PMID:9534958).
