Antigen Long Description: The original antibody was raised from human peripheral blood mononuclear cells. The cells were sorted and the sequence were isolated and cloned into a vector.

Buffer Composition: PBS with 0.02% Proclin 300.

Available Custom Conjugation Options: AP, HRP, Fluorescein, APC, PE, Biotin Type A, Biotin Type B, Streptavidin, FluoroProbes 647H, Atto488, APC/Cy7, PE/Cy7

Uniprot Accession No.: Q66479

Specificity Statement: This antibody is specific for the threefold plateau epitope of the genome polyprotein of Human enterovirus 71

Application Notes (Clone): The original antibody was used for an in vitro neutralization assay against different EV71 genotypes. It showed neutralization for all genotypes tested. This antibody was used for a in vivo assay neutralization assay with EV71 in the hSCARB2-transgenic mice model. Here it showed increased survival in the subjects. This antibody was used for immunoprecipitation on the EV71 capsid. This antibody was used for flow cytometry on EV71 infected RD cells. The structure of this antibody was determined using both cryo-EM and x-ray crystallography (Huang et al., 2020; PMID:33067459).
