Application Notes (Clone): The original antibody was used for a virus neutralization assay with HPeV1 and HT29 cells (Westerhuis et al., 2015; PMID:25948742, Shakeel et al., 2015; PMID:26157123). This antibody was used for an ELISA on purified HPeV1 to -6 or the capsid proteins VP0, VP3, and VP1 from HPeV1 to -4 (Westerhuis et al., 2015; PMID:25948742), and on N-terminally biotin-labelled HPeV1 overlapping peptides (Shakeel et al., 2015; PMID:26157123). This antibody was used for immunofluorescence on infected and uninfected HT29 cells. The binding affinity of this antibody was determined using surface plasmon resonance on VP1 of HPeV1 (Westerhuis et al., 2015; PMID:25948742). The structure of the original antibody was determined using cryo-EM (Domanska et al., 2019; PMID:30463974). This antibody was used as a control in a binding assay on HT29 cells with HPeV3 (Domanska et al., 2019; PMID:30463974).
