Specificity Statement: The antibody is specific for envelope protein 1 of Hepatitis C virus. The antibody recognizes an epitope in E1 represented by aa region 313-326.
Application Notes (Clone): The specificity of the Fab format of the antibody was confirmed by ELISA analysis. Further, the antibody was able to neutralize genotype 2a, 1a and 4a of HCV. The affinity of the antibody was measured using peptide IGP 2254 (ITGHRMAWDMMMNWS). Association and dissociation of this peptide to the immobilized antibody was measured using SPR (Kd= 0.06 nM) (US20090104207).
