Antigen Long Description: The original antibody was generated by immunizing a llama with N-terminal htt protein, followed by phage-VHH display library construction. The antibody was isolated by biopanning against wild-type or mutant N-terminal htt fragment.

Specificity Statement: The antibody is specific for wild-type and mutant human huntingtin under native and denatured conditions. The antibody epitope is located between amino acids 49–148.

Application Notes (Clone): The specificity of the original format of the antibody was confirmed by ELISA analysis. The antibody detected the htt by western blot analysis. The antibody could co-immunoprecipitate htt from human HD brain lysates (Schut et al., 2015; PMID: 25294428).
