Antigen Long Description: The original antibody was generated by immunizing BALB/c mice with recombinant human SIRPα-hFc fusion protein.

Buffer Composition: PBS with 0.02% Proclin 300.

Available Custom Conjugation Options: AP, HRP, Fluorescein, APC, PE, Biotin Type A, Biotin Type B, Streptavidin, FluoroProbes 647H, Atto488, APC/Cy7, PE/Cy7

Uniprot Accession No.: P78324

Specificity Statement: This antibody binds human and cynomolgus monkey SIRP alpha, which is a regulatory membrane glycoprotein and an immunoglobulin-like cell surface receptor for CD47. This protein plays a key role in intracellular signaling during synaptogenesis and in synaptic function. Cancer cells highly express CD47 that activates SIRPα and inhibit macrophage-mediated destruction.

Application Notes (Clone): The binding reactivity of this antibody towards recombinant human SIRPα-his fusion protein was checked using ELISA. Flow cytometry was used to detect the binding of the antibody to SIRPα on the membrane of human and cynomolgus monkey SIRPα overexpressed cells. This antibody binds cynomolgus monkey SIRPα with a weaker binding affinity than human SIRPα. This antibody can effectively block the binding of CD47 protein to cell surface SIRPα (CN110734897).
