CloneID: OX-119
Antigen Long Description: OX-119 was prepared by immunizing BALB/c mice with a chimeric protein made up of human SIRPg and a leader peptide of rat CD4 domain (SIRPg-CD4 ).
Buffer Composition: PBS only.
Chimeric Use Statement: This chimeric human antibody was made using the variable domain sequences of the original Mouse IgG1 format, for improved compatibility with existing reagents, assays and techniques.
Uniprot Accession No.: Q9P1W8
Specificity Statement: Hybridoma supernatants were initially screened by ELISA, using SIRPg-CD4, human SIRPa-Fc, human SIRPb-Fc or CD4 to eliminate hybridomas with cross-reactivity to rat CD4, human SIRPa, and SIRPb. There is some marginal binding of OX-119 to SIRPb transfected 293T cells. SIRPg binds CD47. On binding with CD47, mediates cell-cell adhesion. Engagement on T-cells by CD47 on antigen-presenting cells results in enhanced antigen-specific T-cell proliferation and costimulates T-cell activation. Expressed on CD4+ T-cells, CD8+ T-cells, CD56-bright natural killer (NK) cells, CD20+ cells, and all activated NK cells..
Application Notes (Clone): OX-119 is able to perform staining of peripheral blood myeloid cells (PBMCs) and block SIRPg-mediated apoptosis. OX-119 can also be used in IP, FC and ELISA.
