CloneID: 10901
Antigen Long Description: The original antibody was generated by panning a human library against SpA.
Buffer Composition: PBS with 0.02% Proclin 300.
Available Custom Conjugation Options: AP, HRP, Fluorescein, APC, PE, Biotin Type A, Biotin Type B, Streptavidin, FluoroProbes 647H, Atto488, APC/Cy7, PE/Cy7
Uniprot Accession No.: A0A0H3K686
Specificity Statement: This antibody is specific for SpA-E of S.aureus. S.aureus is a bacteria that causes MRSA in humans, but can also cause a wide range of other infections.
Application Notes (Clone): The affinity of the antibody to bind SpA-E was determined by a standard optical interferometry method (KD < 5nM). The binding of the antibody to SpA on live S. aureus TCH1516 (USA300 MRSA strain) was tested by flow cytometry. The antibody showed inhibition of IgG binding to SpA on S. aureus cells in a flow cytometry-based surface staining assay. The antibody showed a significant reduction in S. aureus survival by opsonophagocytic killing (OPK) activity measurement (CN108064241A).
