Buffers & marker

Optimal electrophoresis results need a combination of quality agarose and lot-to-lot consistent buffers. Lonza offers its own product line, AccuGENE™ Buffer for electrophoresis and molecular biology. Ladders and markers are also offered. Standard ladders and markers are easy to dilute before use, while ones in the SimplyLoad^TM product line contain all necessary reagents in the ready-to-use premix.

The visualization of electrophoretic separation is an important aspect of the experimental process. GelStar® Nucleic Acid staining reagents are able to detect fragments up to 20 pg of DNA, with the best result being achieved if the staining reagents are mixed directly in the gel before casting. The product range also includes Sybr Green staining reagents.
