Sales Representative Life Sciences & Diagnostics (m/f/d)

Region: Western Austria (Tyrol, Vorarlberg, Salzburg, Upper Austria)

SZABO-SCANDIC is an established distributor of life science and diagnostic solutions based in Vienna. As part of the Europa Biosite Group, we collaborate with leading manufacturers from Europe, the USA, and Asia.

To expand our sales territory in Western Austria, we are looking for an entrepreneurial sales professional who takes ownership and actively drives growth.


Your Responsibilities
•   Active sales of products and solutions in Life Sciences & Diagnostics
•   Management and expansion of existing customer relationships (labs, clinics, research institutions)
•   Identification of new business opportunities and targeted acquisition of new customers
•   Conducting product presentations, trainings, and negotiations
•   Close collaboration with sales, marketing, and international partners
•   Participation in industry events and network development

Your Profile
•   Scientific background (e.g. biology, biochemistry, medical technology)
•   Passion for sales (sales experience is an advantage) and building long-term customer relationships
•   Strong communication skills and entrepreneurial mindset
•   Structured, independent, and goal-oriented working style
•   Willingness to travel within the sales territory, including regular visits to Vienna (approx. once per month)
•   German (C2) and English (minimum B2)

Salary
Gross annual salary starting at €63,000, depending on experience and qualifications Compensation structure: 80% fixed + 20% performance-based bonus + additional success-based incentives
Working hours: 38.5 hours/week

Location
•   Home office–based within the sales territory
•   Residence anywhere in Austria possible (preferred within the territory)
•   Regular alignment meetings in Vienna (approx. once per month)
