Clone Name: HL2909

Light Chain: Kappa

Application Note: WB: 1:500-1:3000. *Optimal dilutions/concentrations should be determined by the researcher. Not tested in other applications.

Specificity/Sensitivity: This antibody is raised against human Ezrin phosphorylated at Thr567. Based on sequence homology, it is predicted to react with Radixin and Moesin when phosphorylated at the corresponding residues - Radixin Thr564 and Moesin Thr558.

Form: Liquid

Buffer (with preservative): PBS, no preservative.

Concentration: 1 mg/ml (Please refer to the vial label for the specific concentration.)

Background: The cytoplasmic peripheral membrane protein encoded by this gene functions as a protein-tyrosine kinase substrate in microvilli. As a member of the ERM protein family, this protein serves as an intermediate between the plasma membrane and the actin cytoskeleton. This protein plays a key role in cell surface structure adhesion, migration and organization, and it has been implicated in various human cancers. A pseudogene located on chromosome 3 has been identified for this gene. Alternatively spliced variants have also been described for this gene. [provided by RefSeq, Jul 2008]
