Additional info: Neuromedin U was found in porcine spinal cord. Neuromedin U-8 is contained within a larger polypeptide form neuromedin U-25. Neuromedin U is present in central and peripheral neurons, particularly in the enteric nervous system.
Absorption with 10-100 ug immunogen per ml diluted antiserum abolishes the staining.Positive control: frozen sections of chicken small intestine.
