Protein Tag: N-His
Uniprot: P18510
Accession: P18510
Background: Inhibits the activity of interleukin-1 by binding to receptor IL1R1 and preventing its association with the coreceptor IL1RAP for signaling. Has no interleukin-1 like activity. Binds functional interleukin-1 receptor IL1R1 with greater affinity than decoy receptor IL1R2, however, the physiological relevance of the latter association is unsure.
Bio Acitivity: Not validated for activity
Sequence: Arg26-Glu177
Purity: > 90% as determined by reducing SDS-PAGE.
Formulation: Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4., 5% trehalose, 5% mannitol, 0.01% Tween 80.
Normally 5%-8% trehalose, mannitol and 0.01% Tween 80 are added as protectants before lyophilization.
Please refer to the specific buffer information in the printed manual.
Reconstitution: It is recommended that sterile water be added to the vial to prepare a stock solution of 0.5 mg/mL. Concentration is measured by UV-Vis.
Endotoxin: < 10 EU/mg of the protein as determined by the LAL method.
Calculated MW: 19.4 kDa
Observed MW: 19 kDa
