Purification method: This monoclonal antibody was purified using multi-step affinity chromatography methods such as Protein A or G depending on the species and isotype.

Background: LAG-3, also known as CD223, is 70 kD type I transmembrane glycoprotein within the Ig superfamily. CD223, like CD4, binds MHC class II molecules, but with higher affinity than CD4. Clone C9B7W antibody has been reported to block the function of murine LAG-3 in vivo and in vitro.

Immunogen: Murine CD223-Ig fusion protein.

Concentration: 1.0 - 5.0 mg/ml.

Formulation: Sterile filtered & formulated in 0.01 M phosphate buffered saline (PBS) pH 7.4 with no preservatives.

Purity: >98% by SDS-PAGE and HPLC.
