Background: Suitable in combination with all peroxidase labelled proteins. It may also be used for the detection of endogenous oxido-reductases. AEC, 3-Amino-9-Ethyl-Carbazole is a chromogene, which generates in contact with peroxide and peroxidase a red colour. It is strongly recommended to use aqueous mounting media to cover slides after staining. Alcoholic solutions and xylene must be avoided.
Purification Method: Kit contents: 100 ml substrate buffer, 10 ml AEC solution (3-Amino-9-Ethyl-Carbazole)*, 1 mixing bottle for working solution, quantity sufficient for app. 1000 immunohistochemical tests.
